Not Republishing Videos After Enabling an Integration

Incorrect Usage

A common mistake is enabling the Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager (GA/GTM) or Facebook Pixel integration without republishing the videos afterward.

Why It's a Problem

Enabling an integration does not automatically update previously published videos. Until they are republished, the integration settings may not take effect, and video events may not be sent to GA/GTM or Facebook Pixel.

After enabling or updating the GA/GTM or Facebook Pixel integration, make sure to republish your videos to apply the changes.

To do this, click Republish All Videos button on the GA/GTM or Facebook integration page.

If your integration isn't tracking events as expected, this should be one of the first things to check.
