Incorrect Content Security Policy (CSP) Configuration

Incorrect Usage

A website's Content Security Policy (CSP) may be configured too restrictively, blocking scripts or other resources required by the Vidalytics player.

This issue may appear in your browser's developer console as an error similar to the following:

Loading the script 'blob:https://example.com/xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx'
violates the following Content Security Policy directive:
"script-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline' https://fast.vidalytics.com".
Note that 'script-src-elem' was not explicitly set, so 'script-src' is used as a fallback.
The action has been blocked.

Why It's a Problem

If the website's CSP is configured incorrectly, the browser may block scripts required by the Vidalytics player, preventing the player from loading and initializing.

If the Vidalytics player doesn't load at all on your website, open your browser's developer console and reload the page.

If you see an error similar to the example above, your website's CSP configuration may be causing the issue.

To resolve it, we recommend contacting your website administrator or hosting provider to review and update the CSP settings to allow the required player resources.
